Friends by Teena Raffa-Mulligan Book Review

I was going to do a book review for this little Aussie ripper picture book called Friends. It tells a story of how special and important friends are in our lives through cute quotes and beautiful illustrations. After reading it to my children they begged me to do the review instead  so this is what my three children aged 6, 8 & 9 had to say.

Review No. 1 from age 6 year old

"I like that the Koala always helps his friends. The wombat is also cute. My favourite page is the one with the wombat climbing and koala helping. I learnt that I should always help my friends. "

Review No 2. from age 8 year old

"I liked the funny illustrations. I like that it taught me that your friends are always there for you no matter what. My favourite part is when it says "A friend plays a clown when my smiles upside down.""

Review No 3. from age 9 year old

"I liked that it is all Australian creatures. I liked that it is about friends and how they can always help you and be there for you. I think the illustrations of the bottle brush trees are pretty on the page that says "friends always share to show that they care". I also think the possum picture is cute." We think that children from 1 years old to 8 year olds would like to read this. It would make a great present for little toddlers, babies and kids in primary school. “Friends brighten our days in so many ways and having a caring, sharing special someone who accepts us without judgement contributes to our sense of well being. It is especially important for children to experience what it is to have a true friend and to be that friend to others.” In her gentle way, Teena Raffa-Mulligan.Author explains why she wrote FRIENDS, which is available now. If you would like to buy the book click on the link below ---
