This year more than 13,200 Australians will be diagnosed with a melanoma skin cancer. It represents a tiny fraction of all skin cancers, but causes 75 per cent of skin cancer deaths. But there is some good news – if melanoma is identified at an early stage, simple treatment can result in a complete cure. It’s highly likely you or someone you love has been touched by the disease.
Research is helping, but today four people will die from melanoma skin cancer. To support melanoma skin cancer patients, the Hunter Melanoma Foundation is holding a Beach Ball Fundraiser at Merewether Surf Club on Friday, 14 October 2016, and they would love your support. Raising much needed funds, will hopefully help lead to a cure and allow the Hunter Melanoma Foundation to educate people about the disease, drive awareness and support patients.
Rashoodz is donating a swim pack for raffle at the Beach Ball Fundraiser to show our support for melanoma skin cancer patients. The swim pack includes our famous Rashoodz Rashsuit for babies and toddlers. These swimsuits are UPF50+, fade and chlorine resistant and harmful chemical free. Also included is a matching award winning swim nappy that keeps the wees and poos in, swim cap and awesome kidz sunnies. You’re kid will be set for everything they need this Summer for the beach or the pool.
Show your support by donating to the Hunter Melanoma Foundation. Because sun safety is our passion and skin care is important to us!
