How to stay warm while swimming in winter

Contrary to popular belief babies and kids don't get sick when swimming in warm water. However they can get sick if they do not dry off properly after getting out of the pool.

Here are some quick tips to help keep your bubs safe from getting sick this winter swimming season

1. Dry off quickly

2. Take the swimwear off straight away

3. Put on socks, ugg boots or warm booties

4. Put on warm clothing and a jumper. I like to bring a wolly dressing gown with a hood to wrap around them straight away.

5. Put on a warm hat to keep the wet hair covered and to keep the warmth in.

6. Swim in a heated pool
